Funny that my 50 mile time is faster than my 50K. Guess that's what happens when your only 50K has over 11,000' of vertical ascent =)
Short-Term Running Goals:
Zion Traverse
Squaw Peak 50 Mile
Speedgoat 50K
Quest For King's
Wasatch 100
Long-Term Running Goals:
Just want to stay happy and healthy. Bring on whatever that may entail!
Personal:
I started running in April '09 and run to maintain some balance in my life. Apparently I have an addictive personality so I figure I should do something positive with it.

Great read. That is the last one I have to read. Now what will I do with my time???
I will admit something only right here: I rarely read full race reports. They are kind of boring and we are all so long winded and talk about stupid stuff (it is good for our own reading, but not everyone elses, I write them for myself and I do reread them!) HOWEVER, I just can not get enough of these Wasatch 100 reports. It all fascinates me. It is inspiring.

Kelli, it's learning as you prepare for you first 100. Josh, it was so fun being out there and sharing the course. Sorry we couldn't run more together. I'm glad you had a successful race. Time to start planning the next adventure - GC R2R2R

The only way I could truthfully survive 100 miles (or even another 50) is if you smarties were right there with me telling me what to do. Oh, and I would need to learn to run downhill on rocks. ;o)
When are you doing the R2R2R? That will be very cool! Can not wait to read about that adventure. That is actually something I would love to do when and IF I ever get more experienced at trail running.

You better believe we'd be right there with you watching you suffer. You can totally do it though... Just get another 50 under your belt in preparation for it, then you're set! Simple as that.

I will have to wait until you guys decide you are sick of running it yourselves so i can have professional pacers. And cougar fighters.

Great write up! Super impressive the way you pulled through from the low points so early! Tough as nails my friend, says a lot about you that you fought that hard. Congrats on the finish!

Thanks for all the nice compliments everyone. Can't believe I'm already thinking about next year. Ugh! And Bryce, I'm looking forward to seeing how you do at The Bear in a couple weeks. I'll be up there pacing my dad so hopefully I'll see ya at the start.
