Funny that my 50 mile time is faster than my 50K.  Guess that's what happens when your only 50K has over 11,000' of vertical ascent =)

Zion Traverse

Squaw Peak 50 Mile

Speedgoat 50K

Wasatch 100

Just want to stay happy and healthy.  Bring on whatever that may entail!

Personal:

I started running in April '09 and run to maintain some balance in my life.  Apparently I have an addictive personality so I figure I should do something positive with it.

Tried the elliptical but it still puts too much pressure on the leg.  The stationary bike seemed to do the trick though.  Kept the resistance fairly low and just cruised with some tunes in my ear.  Not exactly my idea of a good time, but it's all I got right now.  30 minutes of something is better than nothing.

Heal up and come running. It's perfect outside right now.

Ditto to what Jun said - Heal it up!

I don't know what it is, but as much as I hate the TM, I have an even harder time on a stationary bike - just hard to keep the motivation to go for a long time! I guess it makes for a good mental challenge!

Enjoyed your full Bear report. Sounds like you were cruising pretty easy out there for most of it. Sorry about the leg thing. Brutal! I can't even imagine coming down that last drop in that much pain, tough as nails! Way to hang in and get it done in a great time. Impressive. I think you're sub 24 no problem next year if you're in again.

I was so glad I had Cody with me out there or I would have missed that same turn and I was in such as haze I may have never been found again.

Darn it. I hope it gets back to feeling better very soon! CRUD. BUT, stay clear of Craig now that we have mud and snow, you might fall.
