Funny that my 50 mile time is faster than my 50K.  Guess that's what happens when your only 50K has over 11,000' of vertical ascent =)

Zion Traverse

Squaw Peak 50 Mile

Speedgoat 50K

Just want to stay happy and healthy.  Bring on whatever that may entail!

Personal:

I started running in April '09 and run to maintain some balance in my life.  Apparently I have an addictive personality so I figure I should do something positive with it.

My doctor visit went EXACTLY as I thought... No major structural damage and I'm officially cleared to start training again.  I just need to make sure I stay under the pain threshold.  Could be interesting.  What will be even more interesting is where I'm gonna find the motivation to get out the door and run long again.  I have absolutely no desire at the moment.

Must be something in the air - Jun and I were just talking about how finding motivation has been challenging this past little while...

Glad to hear it went well!!

Sounds like we all need to motivate each other and do some runs together! That's the only way I can see getting out of this slump.

Let's get each other out the door next week. With all the snow the trails will either be muddy or icy or really muddy next week. Maybe we should just keep to the flats and hang out together. It might make it tolerable.

Great idea! I've done nearly all my runs in recent weeks on the flats anyway, so that won't bother me at all.

Good to hear everything is ok. Yeah, maybe we need to go down south for another adventure run.

Antelope is perfect right now. No snow, no mud. I'm planning to go out there again this Saturday.
