Funny that my 50 mile time is faster than my 50K. Guess that's what happens when your only 50K has over 11,000' of vertical ascent =)
Short-Term Running Goals:
Zion Traverse
Squaw Peak 50 Mile
Speedgoat 50K
Quest For King's
Wasatch 100
Long-Term Running Goals:
Just want to stay happy and healthy. Bring on whatever that may entail!
Personal:
I started running in April '09 and run to maintain some balance in my life. Apparently I have an addictive personality so I figure I should do something positive with it.
First time out since hurting my back last weekend. Seems it was just a minor flare up but I took a few days off just to be sure. Took it easy today. Went up to Butler Fork and ran up to the Desolation junction then back down.

You've seen your share of injuries lately. You must be getting old. Are you coming up for Quest for King's next weekend?

Yeah, I'm feelin like an old man for sure. Luckily they've all just been some minor setbacks. I'll definitely be up for Quest For Kings though. When are you guys planning on going up?

I'll be going up Friday night. If I can talk my parents into coming along I am planning on running with everyone. If they can't tag along, I'll have my kids an won't be able to run, but will be there Friday night to hang out and on Saturday to get it started and watch people come in. I'm hoping to leave here by 5pm or so. I think Scott is leaving around the same time as me. I'll get an email going around so we all know what's going on. Aaron K. is coming in for it too.
