Funny that my 50 mile time is faster than my 50K.  Guess that's what happens when your only 50K has over 11,000' of vertical ascent =)

Zion Traverse

Squaw Peak 50 Mile

Just want to stay happy and healthy.  Bring on whatever that may entail!

Personal:

I started running in April '09 and run to maintain some balance in my life.  Apparently I have an addictive personality so I figure I should do something positive with it.

Didn't get out til late today but I wasn't going to miss my run.  All I wanted was a half hour to see how things are feeling before I do a long-ish run on Saturday.  Things turned out pretty good, just a little knee pain.  My last mile was at 6:30 pace which is the fastest I've been able to go in several months, so that was fun.

Looking for at least 14 on Saturday so I can round out the week with 30, which was my goal coming into this week.  I won't be afraid to shut it down early though if things go south.

What's your plan for tomorrow? And are you going to try and get out today, at all (Friday)?

I'm not running today. I'm afraid of doing too much, too soon so I'm saving it for tomorrow. Plan tomorrow is boring... Going to the JRP to do some laps on my 10K route. That way I'm never too far from my car in case my knee starts acting up. Definitely not doing any hills until I know this IT thing has passed.
